How do I become a member?
1. Walk Forward
An opportunity is given at the close of each worship service by Dr. Hoyt Johnson to walk forward and become a member of EPCC. If you have little ones in the Nursery or Children’s Programs elsewhere in the building, their caregiver or teacher will be informed that you are talking to someone about membership and will be a little late picking them up.
2. Talk with a Minister or Elder
Hoyt or one of our Elders will talk with you individually regarding your decision (Membership Requirements). If that is not a convenient option,, instructions will be given as to a future meeting to discuss your decision. If you have any questions, please call 404-761-3187.
3. Be Baptized
If you have never been immersed in baptism as a believer before, you will get the opportunity after talking with someone, or to schedule another time. Since Christ asked us to believe in Him, turn away from self-willed living, and be baptized (Matthew 28:18-20), baptism is a requirement for membership to EPCC.
